Jungle Bird Boogie at The Loyalist, April 10, 2017 @ 06:00PM

Less than 2 weeks til The Loyalist hosts Campari USA’s Jungle Bird Boogie cocktail competition and punch-off on April 10th at 6:00 PM. The Jungle Bird, by the way, is a 1970s classic tiki cocktail from the beautiful Kuala Lumpur, combining the silky sweetness of Pineapple juice, sharp tang of rum, and the delightful bitterness of Campari (see the end of this post for Imbibe’s recipe, and check back here between now and April 10th for my own version).

From The Facebook event page:

Seven bars from across Chicago will compete for your undying love and affection in our first round filled with punches and funky tunes. Vote for which punch you enjoyed the most, and the top three most popular punches will move onto the final round, where they will enter the ThunderDome! Here, our crack judges will determine who truly has the truly fanciest Fancy Bird. Three birds, enter but only one bird will leave a champion! Hang out after the competiton and enjoy classic cocktails from The Loyalist and our friends at Campari.

Competitors (BB note: I count 8, someone had too many R&D cocktails writing this event page):
• The Loyalist

Ada Street
