One of my favorite beers for casual winter drinking, and makes a great first drink while getting dressed in one of the Chicago Athletic Associations elegant rooms. Dunkels combine malt complexity with a drinking ease born of lager yeast. The style stays nuanced in flavor, subtle hops lending spice notes and earthy tones that mirror leather, wood, graininess. No tricks here, just four ingredients.
